After releasing a racy video, Hapana Kwaunoenda, which sent tongues waging, the Netherlands based singer Vimbai Zimuto has released another video titled Lamentations.
Lamentations is a song about a man thinking out aloud about his life full of future plans that are not guaranteed.
The man asks himself if he will ever get married, build a home or bear children in the future.
“These are regular thoughts of every human being and being raised in a displaced environment anywhere in the world make is so hard to plan for your future,” wrote Zimuto.
The video itself which was shot and produced by Simba Gee is a great exhibition of African art as evidenced by Zimuto who is clad in an African attire as well as the mbira instrumentals in the song.
The lyrics of the song speaks to the heart and resonates with many, especially young adults who are facing life crisis.
Lamentations is probably one of the most amazing tracks that the beautiful Vimbai Zimuto has done so far.
