After releasing Risky Life, Holy Ten went on to drop follow up music videos for the songs in his album. Songs like ‘Wakatuka Amai’ also went on to top the charts on some radio stations. Holy Ten had songs from the album trend on YouTube and other digital music platforms.

Known for addressing the socio-economic ills being faced by the youth in Zimbabwe as well as representing the girl child, Holy Ten has seen himself signing many endorsement deals in a short space of time, something which was not so familiar with many Hip Hop artists a few years back.

As if this was all, Holy Ten did international tours which saw him going to countries like Ghana, the United Kingdom and South Africa. With this, he is one of the few Hip Hop artistes to ever launch an album that brought so much attention.

Holy Ten who rose to fame during the early days of the COVID-19 lockdown has also brought new fans who were never Hip Hop listeners, and this has helped the genre spread and grow, and compete with other music genres in Zimbabwe.

His so-called “beef” with Zimdancehall artist Enzo Ishall was one of the big moments for Hip Hop this year as it attracted people’s attention to the genre.

He has become a household name to a point where some of the Hip Hop pioneers had to drop subliminal jabs at him just as way of seeking attention.

Being the most booked Hip Hop artist in the country surely shows how influential Holy Ten is and without taking anything away from other artists, Holy Ten had a great year and deserves everything good happening to him right now.

As he celebrates his 23rd birthday today, Holy Ten is going to drop a joint EP with his signee, Saintfloew from his record label Samanyanga Sounds.

Without any disrespect, it is beyond any reasonable doubt that Holy Ten is the best Hip Hop artist in the country right now, and if all goes well, he should walk away with the Best Male and Best Album.
