‘Bridgerton‘ is an American historical romance television series created by Chris Van Dusen for Netflix, based on the book series by Julia Quinn. Produced by Shondaland, it marks the production company’s first venture into scripted programming for Netflix. The show immerses viewers in the competitive world of London’s Regency era ton during the early 1800s, where young nobility and gentry are introduced to society during the social season.
