Award-winning Hip Hop artiste Asaph is set to release his much anticipated Extended Play (EP) at the end of this month.
Titled “The People’s Rapper”, the EP features artistes like Fish F McSwagg, Tha Dawg and Mimmie Tarukwana.
Speaking to The ZimTainment, Asaph said that The People’s Rapper is a 7 track project that features some of his closest friends.
“The Peoples Rapper is a 7 track project and features artists who some of my closest friends; Ganyaz Jr, Mimmie Tarukwana, Fish F McSwagg, Tha Dawg, T. Jeketera, Lee McHoney and Zimbiyana Jones,” said Asaph.

“Songs like Mambo and Ginimbi Rich which wasn’t released but has been performed a couple times will be on the project so the fans can expect this tape to sound the way Hip Hop from Zimbabwe should sound.”
Asaph is also known for his great story-telling skills if his previous releases are anything to go by, and this upcoming EP is no exception.
“I tried to create a relevant story that bangs but still has depth for the listener to walk away with,” he added.
The Mambo hit-maker was also got two nominations at this year’s Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards, the most Outstanding Male and Hip Hop artist of the year.
