Zim Hip Hop Awards is a forum which recognises the outstanding achievements within the Hip Hop fraternity.

Aldrian ‘Beefy’ Harrison, the Zim Hip Hop Awards director said:

“This year people ain’t ready for the changes we have brought to the awards. We are putting together an exclusive show and for once in all these years we are going the extra mile to make our artists appreciated.”

“Being a nominee at this years awards will have many rewards. I will be making a very important announcement soon regarding nominees. These awards not only change the Hip Hop scene but this year they are going to separate our brand from other award shows.”

The awards aim to empower artistes to aspire for better forms of creativity as well as encourage artistes to produce high quality works to make the genre a force to reckon with.

Works that are considered for selection are from artistes with works published from 01 November 2017 to 26 October 2018.

All entries must be accompanied by the respective artistes’ products and these can be in the form of CDs, flash drives, pictures or printed excerpts of articles.

Submissions are going to be open from the 3rd of September (today) to the 26th of October 2018.

Below is a poster with all the requirements for submission.
