Skyz Metro FM finally adds Hip Hop category

Skyz Metro FM has finally decided to add the Hip Hop category to the list of categories for the station’s inaugural awards set for December.

There had been an outcry from Hip Hop artistes and fans on social media after the station had excluded a Hip Hop category on the list of categories last Friday.

Hip Hop artistes felt used and sidelined as some of them have songs topping the station’s chart shows, something that did not go well with the fans also.

The station’s manager, Godwin Phiri released a statement via Skyz Metro FM Facebook page. Read the full statement below.
