Low turn out at Da Lazy show

After weeks of trending on social and print media, the much anticipated Toya Delazy show has been described by social media commentators as a FLOP.

The show which took place at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) last Saturday night saw less than 500 people attending the show which made it the most poorly attended show which featured an international act.

One of the main reason for the low turnout was probably the change of the venue. The show was supposed to be held at the Borrowdale race course but was shifted to HICC and this saw many people who live north of Samora not attending the show as well as some sponsors like Heineken pulling out.

Looking fresh and swagged up in a rock ‘n’ roll attire, Toya tried her best to give an electrifying performance to her die-hard fans.

Songs like Pump it on and My city were sing-along tracks as they were the popular ones to the small crowed which graced the event.

Adding flavour to her performance were her dancers who thrilled the crowd with the half naked white girl making all the boys whistle.

Besides Toya, local act Sharky gave a sterling performance as he opened as he opened for the South African artist. Sharky performed songs off his latest album titled Soko Matemai and left people asking for more.

Sylent Nqo, and Ammara were also at their best with the former getting cheers from the crowd as he literally sang with his guitar. Ammara made the crowd stand with her dance moves as she left everyone in awe.
