One of the most successful artistes in Zimbabwe, Winky D, has sent people into a frenzy with his brand new song titled KaSong Kejecha.
The Dancehall superstar has rode the wave of the popular street catch-phrase Kudira Jecha (translated to disrupting) which is said to be politically aligned to the MDC Alliance political party.
In the song, Winky D castigates corruption, medical shortages and poverty. He makes fun of the 1:1 exchange rate of the Bond Notes to the US Dollars asking the type of mathematics being used.
Winky D has for long been said to be a supporter of MDC Alliance’s leader Nelson Chamisa, could this cement those allegations or he just used the opportunity and released a song with the trending catch-phrase?
