Alpha Media Holding’s Heart & Soul TV will tomorrow host its inaugural Red Mic concert at the Zimbabwe Germany Society in Milton Park, Harare, to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The event will be celebrating love and will double up as a corporate event, where people will be afforded an opportunity to socialise and meet potential business partners, while enjoying a beautiful moment with their loved ones.

There will be live performances from local musicians such as songstress Tammy Moyo, Sani Makhalima, Soul Profound, Prayer Soul, King Avery and Adrian Tate, among others. The event will be led by Heart & Soul DJs, including Masciline, Adiona Chidzonga, Fufu, Davina Greene, Tanaka as well as Nyasha, Mr Ian, Craig and Angel Kudiwa. Tickets are available at the Heart & Soul offices situated at I Union Avenue in Harare. HSTV is part of Alpha Media Holdings, publishers of NewsDay, The Standard, Zimbabwe Independent and Southern Eye.

Theatre in the Park

Theatre in the Park in Harare Gardens will tonight and tomorrow host a satirical play titled: State of the Nation-Vortex, that highlights critical issues troubling the nation and a call for dialogue among citizens as the venue opens its season. The play is directed by Peter Churu features veteran actor, director and producer Daves Guzha, socialite and journalist Patience Phiri, actor and director Tafadzwa Bob Mutumbwi alongside National Art Merit Award-winning actress, Eunice Tava.

Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton

Musician Jah Prayzah, backed by his 3rd Generation Band, will tomorrow share the stage with Mbeu and his Mhodzi Tribe at the Valentine’s Day concert set for Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton.

Joy Centre Machipisa

Dendera singer Douglas Chimbetu and his Dendera Kings will tonight perform at Joy Centre, Machipisa in Highfield. The joint will tomorrow host the return of sungura singer Paradzai Messi and his Njerama Boys, where they will sample new songs from their forthcoming album, alongside Blessing and the Blade.

Ganya Nite Club

Prolific guitarist Progress Chipfumo, backed by his Sounds of Motherland, tomorrow entertains patrons at Ganya Nite Club in Gazaland, Highfield. On Sunday, he takes his acts to Pamuzinda Highway along Bulawayo Road.

Evitro Lounge Bar

The dancehall man of the moment, Enzol Ishall of the Kanjiva fame, will on Sunday entertain patrons at Evitro Lounge Bar. The show will be hosted by Kikky Bad Ass, with South Africa-based hip-hop artiste T Mula set to grace the show as a guest.

Club Las Vegas

Chimurenga music icon Thomas Mapfumo will tonight share the stage with dendera ace Sulumani Chimbetu at a Valentine’s concert set for Club Las Vegas in Southerton, Harare. Tomorrow the duo take their acts to Kwekwe, with a performance at Gulez Gardens at the Valentine’s after-party concert.

The Legends Sports Diner

Sungura ace Alick Macheso will tomorrow share the stage with fast-rising musician Obert Chari at a Valentine gig set for The Legends Sports Diner in Marondera. Chari, the man behind the hit-track, Mebo, will be performing at the joint while his union with Macheso is indicative of his prowess and abilities.

The Vista

The Vista, in conjunction with National University of Science and Technology, tonight hosts a Valentine special featuring an array of wheelspinners, among them Djs Uteng, Brendon Dat Guy, Gassy and DJ Ncanez. The joint will tomorrow present The Singles Fiesta, with resident wheelspinners taking turns to entertain the guests.
