He describes his working method as client-centric, pointing out that he takes time to research the artist, their sound, and offer up soundscapes for development into their next sonic evolution.

“I am constantly aiming to pull out the best out of all the artists I work with,” he claims – and “challenge them to explore a new direction in their music”. This promotion will run for 30 days, seeing a client able to buy at least 1 beat each from the 20 track beat pack.

The promotion is a brain child of both Tanic J and his management company. Tanic J said “I’m thrilled and I appreciate my management for working with me on this. I feel like the promotion is going to be probably one of my best projects yet, getting me in front of various types of creative content creators.” He also said that he sees this as a way to discover talent.

“Some kids can not afford to buy good beats and showcase their talents so this is an opportunity to give them a chance to shoot their shot.” His long term vision is to create a learning centre for young upcoming producers. His dream has always been to implement a project that makes an impact on the mainstream music industry and he intends to do more promotions in future even when he is fully established.

The buyer with the hottest track from the beatpack, will get their song distributed by Africa’s leading distributor Jungle Entertainment Ventures under their priority client status. Jungle is home to major international pop brands like Simi, and Falz of Nigeria; and local favourites Freeman, Takura, and Killer T. This major single will also benefit from a visual and KOSHA’s marketing and plugging.

The organisation has successfully exported various talents from Zimbabwe, including spearheading and project managing major collaborative projects including the NAMA nominated, KURE Remix audio and video.

Eager to push boundaries and experiment with an eclectic mix of sounds, Tanic J draws inspiration from Classic Music, EDM, AfroBeats and Hiphop. He has worked with exceptional and trending artists including DENIM Woods, T-Gonz, Kikky Badass, Dobba Donn , Kanter the Janter, Roki, Mussa Effect and Maxy Jay. His first major tracks with Stunner (included on his major 2017 release, Stray Bullet, are “They Know” and “I need money”.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how the project will unfold and this will determine if I should do more
promotions in future”
