PMula’s MaLevel Aya Is A Banger

You are looking for a song to do your crazy dabs and nae naes? Wait! How many trap songs can one dab to in Zim Hip Hop? Okay never mind!
Apparently when one talks of Zim Hip Hop nowadays the name P Mula will probably pop up from the back of your head without thinking twice. Y’all have already vibed to his hit track MaStandards, his Ndinovapeta remix is still making noise in the streets and now he has dropped what I think is a banger compared to all the trap songs that have been dropped this year.
The Katanga boy has certainly set his level high on a Vic Enlisted production on his latest release entitled MaLevel Aya. The track has certainly made him stay afloat and on top of his game especially after his exodus from Rehab.
Like any other Hip Hop song you might think of, MaLevel is also a self-appraisal track where Mula will be tuning his peers that he is now on his own levels and they cannot reach where he is now with their poor delivery.
Mula gives props to Vic at the beginning of the song (Vic pabeat/Mari agadzira hit/Fonera Chita amboriridza paFixx) and he continues on to tell us that since he dropped MaStandards he’s been in everyone’s ears (Gore riya ndakaseta standard/ Vese vakasara varipagad/ Ndiri munzeve dzavo semaphones). I don’t know if he was taking shots at anyone but Mula goes on to say that he is the father of trap music in Zim, (Pari paTrap ndiri chibaba chavo vese ngavanyarare) of which judging with MaLevel he might be.
What I liked about this track is his prowess behind the mic, his delivery of bars, the rhymes and wordplay were on point. Vic also did a sterling job on the beat especially the inclusion of some Sungura twangs and keeping up with the Hip Hop feel.
All being said, MaLevel is a banger and if it get proper airplay it can be one of Zim Hip Hop’s best songs this year. The track also debuted on air on Star FM recently and received props from listeners.
