Zimdancehall star, Shelton Tawana popularly known as Maggikal has released another sizzling project.
The ” Usatamba Nemadhaka” hit-maker dropped an EP titled “The Playlist”. It holds 8 tracks and features only 2 artists.
Maskiri featured on a song titled “Less Pride” which is a narrative of how life can never be taken for granted and one must never be too pompous in life.
The same message was also put across through a song tilted “Baba naMai” produced by Movy D.
The entire project is an embodiment of maturity and lifestyle. This can be felt through his song “Thickaz” which is a celebration song for plus-sized women.
On “Challenge” he brought in that hardcore Dancehall style which he finds easy to flow in between vernacular and Jamaican patois.
The project has so far attracted a big following and fans have expressed love for the project from across the globe.
The project has been successfully uploaded on most known music platforms i.e Apple Music, Amazon, Audio Mack, Spotify and YouTube.
“Maggikal is expected to start doing local shows this month-end and he is ready to collaborate with deserving artists out there ” said his manager.
He has been quiet for a long time since last year but he has promised a different flavour and energy of work this season.
“Maggikal is already working on new projects and some of them are Riddim compilations” his management added
Maggikal is currently based in South Africa and has been in close contact with the African Dancehall King Buffalo Souljah, who has been mentoring him since early last year.
