Introducing Dance Against Drugs (D.A.D)

D.A.D – Dance Against Drugs is a Zimbabwean corporate initiative helping to reach school children and all the youths around the country through Hip Hop dance. This campaign aims to educate and raise awareness about the negative consequences of drug use in Zimbabwe. We believe Hip Hop is the best way to get this message to all the youths in Zimbabwe. Through Hip Hop we can communicate to the youths in a language and an art form that they can understand and consider ‘cool’. The campaign is set to kick start on the first weekend of March, aiming to work with almost 150 schools in the way. The tour will feature selected Hip Hop dancers.
Main Objectives:

  • Show kids a powerful way to avoid drugs through Hip Hop dance and music.

  • Reach out to young potential dancers and give them guidance and turn them into professional dancers and compete at a competition stage.
  • Raise money for under privileged kids
