Long time friends Blackwhite and VI The Law have started the year on a higher note after they released a joint single titled ‘Ima get it.’
“Ima Get It” is a catchy song that is sure not only to get people’s bodies moving but also a potential anthem for any young man who wants to prove that they can go the extra mile for their special lady.
Blackwhite delivers an incredible beat and chorus and VI The Law provides 3 rap verses.
Blackwhite and VI The Law have a long history of making music together from their high school days at Prince Edward School in Harare Zimbabwe where they were a duo called U.4.RIC where they explored their sound at various studios around Harare.
The group later separated after high school as both members moved on to pursue their tertiary education, Blackwhite in South Africa at Wits and VI The Law at Africa University in Mutare, Zimbabwe.
This however did not stop each from growing into the artists they are today and in 2015 they reunited on an eerie ‘torontoesque” ode to their home city entitled “H” and the following year on an uptempo Afrobeat tune entitled “Go Crazy”.
Both these songs were produced by Blackwhite.
Now that the duo have linked up again, you can enjoy their latest offering which you might fall in love with the first time you listen to it.
