Cal_Vin’s #UsedToRunIt Not Impressive

So the wait is finally over as That Luveve Boy has finally dropped the much ‘anticipated’ #UsedToRunIt, a reply to Jnr Brown’s #WeRunIt.
Apparently after #WeRunIt, many people caught feelings and emotins, especially those who thought the joint was directed at them. Cal quickly announced the release of #UsedToRunIt that same day.
Now on to #UsedToRunIt, Cal went in with all his heart (fact) on the joint which is completely in English unlike Breezy’s vernac joint. I had to go through some Tweets on the joint before I downloaded it to listen for myself.
The joint has some hard hiiting bars which has sent some people in frenzy. Some of the lines which had people go bananas on on Twitter goes like, “You think you had a biggest song last year/ call me Winky D coz I made that shit disappear
Okay, so the song has some hard hitting bars, yes! I think lyrically he was on point as he patterned through the beat in an exceptional way. Cal Vin murdered this track.

However, one thing that I’ve noticed is that I think Cal went in too early and I think he failed to deliver his best. I love Calvin’s music but I think he should’ve taken his time to deliver a spectacular diss track (Like what he did on ‘The warning’).

When I first played the track it seemed as if it was a Cassper’s Le mpitse beat at the beginning, something which I didn’t like at all. Even if you listen to the second verse it’s completely a Cassper Nyovest copy and paste.
I don’t care if y’all do not agree with me but #UsedToRunIt is not on point, will have to wait for the other rappers who’re dropping their joints addressing #WeRunIt. This is an opinion based article!!!
